THREE POSITIONS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:

All notifications of interest, along with qualifications, must be received by 11:59 PM on 1/11/20.  Voting for these positions will take place, in-person, at a public meeting on 1/26/19.  Only those present at this meeting will be able to vote; no absentee ballots will be accepted.

COACHING COORDINATOR:

The Penns Valley Little League (PVLL) is currently seeking applicants for a new Board position; Coaching Coordinator. This appointment will be for a two-year term.

The roles of this position will include, but are not limited to:

-        Promoting the value coaching

-        To support, guide and mentor coaches

-        Attend District meetings

-        Facilitate and promote ongoing development opportunities for coaches

-        Direct yearly communication of new rules or rule changes to all coaches

-        Schedule and devise coaches’ meetings and trainings

-        Lead team parents in coordination of information

-        Ensure positive coaching practices are applied

-        Distribution and management of League documents

-        Attend and provide leadership at PVLL tournaments

-        Reporting roster issues to the Player Agent

-        Retrieving nominations and make recommendations for Post Season team coaching staff

-        Create a positive league culture due to leadership from our coaching staff

-        Contribute with creation of Post Season teams

-        Attend practices to assist development of practice layouts

The successful candidate must:

-        Have two years satisfactory involvement, per the PVLL Board, in the PVLL

-        Have advanced understanding of Little League Rules and Regulations

-        Refrain from coaching during any time in which appointed to the Board


SPONSORSHIP/FUNDRAISING MANAGER:

The Sponsorship/Fundraising Manager shall:

(a) Solicits and secures local sponsorships to support league operations

(b) Collects and reviews sponsorship and fundraising opportunities

(c) Organizes and implements approved league fundraising activities

(d) Coordinates participation in fundraising activities

(e) Maintains records of monies secured through sponsorship and fundraising initiatives.



CONCESSION MANAGER:

The Concession Manager shall:

(a) Maintains the operation of concession facilities

(b) Organizes the purchase of concession products

(c) Responsible for the management of the concession sales at league events

(d) Schedules volunteers to work the concession booth during league events

(e) Collects and reviews concession related offers including coupons, discounts and bulk-purchasing opportunities

f) Organizes, tallies and keeps records of concession sales and purchases.
